Deploying a better future

Through our social impact programs, we are committed to creating a more equitable, just, and accessible tech sector.

Supporting our Communities

We are committed to giving back to our community and building a better future for our world.

  • We contribute our time to the causes we care about.
  • We grant software licenses and give product discounts to  nonprofits and aid in their digital initiatives.
  • We strive to build a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable tech sector and we are passionate about STEAM education.

Giving Back

Employee Volunteerism

Our employees are given paid time off to leverage their skills and passions to invest in community organizations through our DataNerds4Good program

New Relic for Nonprofits

We aim to support the important work done by the nonprofit sector by providing free licenses and discounted access to our platform, helping modern nonprofits operate and innovate in today’s digital world.

Community Partnerships

We host community events, convene thought leaders, and partner with organizations in the communities in which we operate.

Investing in STEAM education

In partnership with Innovate Oregon, our pro bono volunteer program enables New Relic employees to partner with local teachers. Our voluntters help educators think about how they can use Agile practices to reimagine the way the run their classrooms, better aligning the student experience to their future work experience.

Delivering tech access for nonprofits

"New Relic is a must-have wherever server performance matters, which is why we've used it for years. And it's backed by a company that cares deeply about service and citizenship. Our partnership with NewRelic.org has unlocked great career advice from hundreds of New Relic employees, helping thousands of youth to prepare for rewarding careers."
– Jared Chung, Founder, CareerVillage.org

Supporting a more diverse and equitable tech sector

We make our community space available to partner organizations like Women Who Code and PDX Women in Tech to support their work and provide a venue for critical conversations to take place. We also host a monthly talk series, FutureTalks, that gathers the community to focus on important topics.
